The NetAnalyst Level
I Network Performance Technologies course provides an in-depth
analysis of networking protocols and their role in delivering
application performance. The curriculum covers LAN and WAN technologies,
Internet Protocol (IPv4), transport technologies (TCP and UDP), and
additional protocols such as SNMP, HTTP, NFS, FTP, and CIFS. In
addition, the course covers network performance data sources and
analysis, including mathematical concepts and principles, data frequency
and performance analysis, and data sources.
The NetAnalyst Level
II Network Performance Metrics & Analysis 2008 curriculum
includes a new focus on Advanced Data Center Design, including designing
for performance, scalability, and management. In addition, a new section
called Advanced MPLS for Enterprises covers the differences among
carriers, how to measure service-level agreements for compliance, and
troubleshooting through the MPLS cloud from an enterprise perspective.
