The International Intradermal Cosmetics Expo - IICE 2008, the world's largest permanent cosmetics convention, features triple conventions for its annual permanent makeup educational conference and trade show to accommodate varying levels of expertise at affordable rates. Sandi Hammons will keynote this year's event in October. All three Expos will be held at the American Institute of Intradermal Cosmetics and hosted by Premier Pigments. IICE I will be Oct. 1-3, IICE II - Oct. 8-10 and IICE III Oct. 16-18.

Arlington, TX (PRWEB) July 4, 2008 -- With gas prices soaring and airline tickets at an all time high, Polly Dogan thought twice about her annual drive from Memphis, Tennessee to attend the International Intradermal Cosmetics Expo , IICE 2008 this year in Texas. Then she saw the speaker lineup for the October events.

"When I heard about Sandi Hammons new techniques for permanent makeup technicians and the savings I would get with the new "All Access Pass", I said, forget the gas prices, I'm goin' to Texas! No other permanent cosmetics convention can give you all that hands-on training, information, entertainment, and camaraderie for such an affordable price!"

Ms. Dogan has been making the annual trip to the expo for over 10 years. "It is an awesome event and it's an honor to learn from Sandi Hammons and all the other top technicians in the industry," Dogan said.

This year marks the 15th anniversary for the annual event, officially titled the International Intradermal Cosmetics Expo, according to founder and CEO of Premier Pigments , Sandi Hammons . This year's event takes place at the American Institute of Intradermal Cosmetics Arlington headquarters.

"There is a lot of new information permanent cosmetics technicians need to know this year; tips and techniques, new needles and colors, upcoming legislation and industry advancements, business information and of course, marketing and motivation. We will provide the latest information in permanent makeup and of course, we have always been committed to providing the highest quality of hands on training in the industry. Also, it's great to get together with everyone in the industry. That's really how IICE got started."

"This year, we wanted to provide attendees the best experience ever and our move to our Arlington headquarters in a more intimate and affordable setting promises to be a huge success! We now have the opportunity to offer three different three-day Expos tailored to the specific needs of intermediate, advanced and master technicians on three different weeks. Attendees will also have access to a wider selection of more affordable hotels all within walking distance of the Expo. The IICE attendance record is destined to be broken this year. We consider it a testament to our continuous efforts to provide attendees the highest quality permanent cosmetics expo in the world," said Twyla Millican, conference coordinator.

Jennifer Grissom, assistant director for the American Institute of Intradermal Cosmetics, said some specialty workshops are big hits, year after year. "Eyelash Extensions, Hairline Stroke Eyebrows and Designer Eyeliner always draw big crowds. Vibrant Lips are extremely popular and Minimizing Procedure Pain is well-attended. But we've got lots of new information for this year's show.

Hammons will chair the Panel of Experts beginning at 2 p.m. Saturday, as several panelists discuss "The Five Most Dangerous Trends Facing Permanent Cosmetic Technicians," the theme of this year's Expo.

"IICE always has the best speakers, products, techniques and hands-on," said Ceara Mapes and everyone loves networking with the most experienced technicians in the industry.
