Charleston, SC (PRWEB) November 8, 2008 -- Antebellum Plantation Days are recreated at historic Middleton Place Plantation each Saturday in November, 2008 -- admissions begin at 9:00 a.m. Skills practiced by slaves and crafts done by artisans, using the old methods, are demonstrated each Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Experience a different aspect of 18th and 19th century plantation life weekly, such as African-American Traditional Arts, Low Country Foodways, Plantation Rhythms, Domestic Skills and the Plantation Natural Environment. Artisans and craftspersons wear traditional costumes.
