Fight Sport Competitors Share the Action with iPhone App and Interactive Service from Competition Technology

Second in a series of iPhone applications from Competition Technology, "seeme active fightsports" is the world's first service for instantly capturing, storing, sharing and publishing individual competitors' statistics for fight sports including jiu-jitsu, mixed martial arts (MMA), and kickboxing, with boxing and wrestling on the way.

Roseville, CA (PRWEB) November 4, 2009 -- Competition Technology, software developer of technology for sports and competitive activities, released seeme active™ fightsports for iPhone® and iPod touch®, the world’s first service for capturing, compiling and sharing individuals’ statistics for fight sports, with initial support for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, mixed martial arts (MMA), and kickboxing. The app is now available for .99 cents at the iTunes® App Store and a free update will be available shortly that adds support for boxing and wrestling.

Instant Results from the Event to the Web - seeme active fightsports makes it simple to permanently capture and automatically share match and tournament results through the easy-to-use interface. Capture KOs, TKOs, submissions, decisions, etc. plus top-3 finishes for tournament competition. Once saved in seeme active fightsports on the iPhone, results are automatically accessible in the competitor’s account at seemeactive.com. Friends and family can receive notifications of the newly added data and review results as they happen from any device with web access if they can’t be there in person.

Cassio Werneck, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World Champion: “When my students compete it usually takes a couple days to find out how they did, but with seeme active fightsports we can get their results as they happen at the event."
A Lifetime of Stats – "As the world’s largest sanctioning service for kickboxing and MMA, it’s important that we are able to verify the competitive histories and records for both amateur and pro competitors,” said Steve Fossum, President and CEO of International Sport Combat Federation (ISCF) and International Kickboxing Federation (IKF). Fossum explains, “The seeme active fightsports service will help us with the research we do for competitors in the events we sanction.” He adds, “As a former competitor, I realize how important it is to be able to keep an accurate fight record that you can share with others, from friends and family to promoters, and the seeme active service makes it easy to do this regardless of the promoter or event.”

Permission-Based Sharing and Social Networking – Competitors can permit a friend to enter results on their behalf while they’re competing, and allow others to freely add comments or just view the results. The sharing functionality also enables users to have stats automatically posted to social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook to let friends and family get the results as they happen.

Cassio Werneck, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World Champion indicated, "The major jiu-jitsu events capture tournament results, but more often than not - especially for smaller events - results are posted only for the top 3 places if they're posted at all - and if results are posted to a promoter’s web site, they might not be there a year down the road.” Werneck added, “When my students compete it usually takes a couple days to find out how they did, but with seeme active fightsports we can get their results as they happen, including the comments and extra details posted by the competitors or by others who were at the event.”

The seeme active fightsports application will be highlighted for competitors and fans at the International Sport Combat Federation (ISCF) 2009 World Classic Amateur MMA Tournament on November 13-15, 2009 in Kansas City, MO.

More Sports Apps on the Way – Competition Technology released seeme active football ($1.99) in September and more seeme active iPhone apps are on the way.
